Wolfhound Frame and Upgrade Price List

The basic price of a Wolfhound is a traditional road or mountain frame made with Columbus Zona, True Temper Verus, or an equivalent tube set. Ritchey drop-outs are usually standard but in some cases a different option may be used at no extra cost. The price includes a single color paint job with lettering, and of course, custom geometry (shipping and handling not included). For those in need of something a little more saucy, here is a list of some of the custom features your Wolfhound can have. These are the most common features that are added to my bikes. Whether I can pull them off or not, I am always willing to listen to ideas not listed here, just promise not to be upset if I say no!

Getting started with your custom bike

After we’ve discussed your wants and needs via phone or email, and you have decided you are ready for the ride of your dreams, it’s time to send a deposit.  I ask for $500 to secure your place on the waiting list (Please note, all installments are final and nonrefundable).  Then, you will have some months to ride the bike(s) you have by day, and dream about your Wolfhound Cycle by night.  When your number is up, I will contact you and we will make sure I have all the specs nailed down and specifically dialed in, as well as a solid understanding of the custom features and overall attitude you are looking for in your bike.  Then it’s time to send more money, I will require another $500 to begin the build, balance due when the bike is ready for delivery.

Full build kits are available, (and recommended) as a bike inevitably comes out better if I have all the parts in front of me when the process starts.  With ever expanding avenues of specialized technology, it is becoming more important to design the bike around specific components, without eliminating future adaptability.  This becomes an important challenge, because the more “integrated” something is, the better it looks and works (if done properly).  These are boundaries we will discuss when designing your bike, and picking frame options.  I enjoy the added opportunity to make sure the final product flows in perfect harmony when the bike is in its element. The visual grace of the machine becomes a beautiful side effect of its essence, which is all about feel.  I look forward to helping each customer find a unique and personal riding experience, and take pride in the true authenticity of each bike I create.
